Beyond Activewear: Our CSR

Since the birth of the label, we knew that we wanted to go beyond retail and being an activewear brand.

We are proud advocates of women supporting women, which is why we created our first ever tank not only in collaboration with local artist Carol Goh, but a dollar from every Gloria Almighty Tank sale will go to the Sexual Assault Care Centre (SACC) by AWARE Singapore — a specialised care service centre for survivors of sexual violence which provides free services to those who have experienced sexual assault, helping them deal with their experiences and make decisions about their next steps.

A young and growing brand, Trybe Active is always on the progress of making environmental sustainability one of our main priorities. Come October 2019, all of our products will come in biodegradable polybags that will biodegrade in rubbish.

In collaboration with @riaucandleco, a non-profit business development project we created Apple Lavender, our soy candle made with quality essential oils and locally sourced wax blends. 100% of our candle sales go towards charity projects in Indonesia, including creating sustainable employment for vulnerable women. Each candle is hand poured by women transitioning from homelessness to being able to support themselves and their families.

We have partnered with House by Freedom by Liberty Society to create a handcrafted wet bag. Liberty Society is a social enterprise based in Indonesia that empowers women & communities affected by violence and extreme poverty through upskilling opportunities, a community of support, and access to livelihood. Each bag is handcrafted with love by women make and thrive as independent seamstresses.
